The Raleigh Convention and Conference Center is North Carolina's premiere multi-purpose facility for meetings and events. No other facility has the capability and flexibility that the RC&CC offers. The Raleigh Convention and Conference Center has over 130,000 square feet of meeting space, all equiped with the latest technology. The redesigned space allows the Center to host corporate meetings, conventions, banquets, concerts, sporting events, trade shows, and seminars easily and efficiently.

The city is currently building a new convention center:

• 150,000 sq. ft. of exhibit space
• 30,000 sq. ft. of meeting space
• 32,000 sq. ft. ballroom
• Total of 212,000 sq. ft. of rentable space
• Approximately 510,000 sq. ft. of total building including prefunction space
• Official groundbreaking on April 6, 2005
• Projected opening Spring 2008

Directions to the Raleigh Convention Center:

From Durham & Chapel Hill To Raleigh:
Take I-40 (Avoid Wade Ave Lanes) To Exit 298b (S. Saunders St) stay in the right lane all the way to South St. Turn right on South St. Go 2 blocks. The Auditorium will be on the right and Convention Center is one block over on the left on Lenoir St.

From Fayetteville:
Take 401 North to downtown Raleigh. 401 North becomes Wilmington St. Once downtown,the Auditorium is on the left on the corner of Wilmington and South Streets.

From Sanford & Southern Pines:
Take #1 North To 40 East; follow fo Exit 298b (S. Saunders Street North). Then proceed as for Durham and Chapel Hill above.

From Goldsboro & Kinston:
Take 70 West all the way to Raleigh. Once Downtown, the Auditorium is on the left on the corner of Wilmington and South Streets.Raleigh Convention & Conference Center is one block up
on the left on Lenoir St.

From Rocky Mount,Greenville,and Wilson:
Take 64 West all the way into Raleigh to the State Capitol Building. Once on the far side of the Capitol,turn left on Salisbury Street. Follow this street to the Auditorium on the corner of Salisbury and South Streets. The Convention and Conference Centeris on the left on Lenoir St.
