The North Carolina Symphony is the state’s professional orchestra, founded in 1932 and performing roughly 200 concerts a year across North Carolina. Its Raleigh home is Meymandi Concert Hall inside the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts.

With a roster of full-time musicians, the Symphony presents classical, pops & family programming — including its long-running Young People’s Concerts. The 1,587-seat Meymandi Concert Hall is purpose-built for its sound.
